PDF is the International Standard for WYSIWYG document viewing and can be viewed in most internet browsers (via a plug-in) or with the free Adobe Acrobat Reader which is shipped on our installation CD and is freely available on the web.  Plus, this is no plain-vanilla PDF format either, giving you:

  • Full WYSIWYG display of all formatting including any revision marks or other production information
  • Automatic integrated bookmarks so the viewer can instantly jump to ANY scene in the script with a mere click
  • Optional floating script notes that allow your viewer to see comments you've made but which won't affect the script's layout or format
{short description of image} Note Commander -- lets you take charge of all the script notes in your script from one easy window!  Hide, show, print, edit or change the color of any script note regardless of where it is the script.  Want to see all the notes of just one color?  It's as easy as clicking a colored check box.
{short description of image} Production Sides -- does your production need the script printed on half-sized production sides?  Forget going to the copier and reducing and cutting and pasting... now, with Screenwriter 2000, it's finally as easy as simply selecting the pages you want and clicking print!  It's automatically reduced for you and printed with two copies per page.  It can optionally even X-out the non-relevant text if you simply select the scene's you want to highlight first.  Like all of Screenwriter 2000's production features, this one comes from the demands of the production community, and this one feature alone will absolutely save you hours over the course of a production!
{short description of image} Integrated Text-to-Speech -- want to hear some dialogue spoken aloud?  Simply assign each character a voice and let Screenwriter 2000 read the script aloud to you!  Full control over pronunciation, speed of the voices and the like, in addition to great flexibility in how the program will (or won't!) read Character Names and parentheticals.

Are you an actor who wants to practice your lines?  Simply turn off the voice for your character and the program will automatically pause for your dialogue, letting you play along with the program, practicing with cues and all!

{short description of image} On-screen MS Word®-style underlining of misspelled words -- are you used to the way MS Word underlines all your misspelled words on-screen?  Well, then Screenwriter 2000 is the program for you, as it can now do the same, including offering you correction suggestions and learning options when you right-click on the misspelled word.
{short description of image} Improved Novel Formats -- want to turn your script into a novel?  Do it in Screenwriter 2000!  It now supports auto-indention of paragraphs, justified, double-spaced prose text, running Chapter and Book headings and all the ease of use you've come to expect.
